Program Requirements and Highlights :

Community Solutions is one such program offering flexible mortgage options for low-and moderate-income borrowers. Community Solutions is for borrowers who are full-time teachers, police officers and firefighters whose employers offer an Employee Assisted HousingProgram.

Employees who receive an Employee Assisted Housing benefit generally get help with at least one of the three primary obstacles to homeownership:

• Down payment
• Closing costs
• Permanent Interest rate buy-down on the first mortgage

Community Solutions is also for borrowers who: 

• Require greater flexibility with credit scores and/ or credit histories
• Have not yet had time to create a full credit history
• Need to have a greater portion of their income go towards their housing in order to afford homeownership.
