The Collin County Association of REALTORS® (CCAR) is a nonprofit professional association with headquarters in Plano . CCAR has a membership of over 3,500 REALTOR® and affiliate members. The Housing Opportunities Committee is appointed by the President and helps to keep the membership and public aware of housing assistance programs.

MISSION STATEMENT

To be Collin County’s one-stop resource center for housing opportunity information targeting low-to-moderate income, first-time and workforce homebuyers.

OBJECTIVES

• Operate, at the Collin County Association of REALTORS® office, a housing opportunity center with information on, but not limited to, payment assistance programs, targeted loans, builder programs, affordable housing and grants in Collin County.
• Maintain a Collin County Association of REALTORS® housing opportunity website with information and links to related sites.
• Develop and present outreach presentations to homebuyers, REALTORS® and affiliates.
